What this page is for

General questions about this evidence review: something that is unclear, a claim you have seen and want to know how it is graded, or a correction you would like to suggest. These are welcome, and corrections are made to the page itself.

What this site does not state

This site does not state what Chongqing West District Hospital offers in relation to plasma treatment, because that has not been verified. It is not a booking page for any such treatment, and no assessment for plasma treatment is offered here. If you have a question about your own care rather than about this review, the hospital's outpatient channels are the right route, and the appointments page explains them.

Questions about a device

Any question about a specific device — which one, what it is cleared to do, who may operate it, and what the settings mean — belongs with whoever is proposing to use it, and the regulatory status page explains what to ask. This site deliberately does not name devices, because a review that names one would be recommending it.

Questions about your own skin

A question about your own skin — whether what you are seeing is texture, laxity or a pigment condition, and what the options would be — is answered by an examination rather than by correspondence. That examination is a general aesthetic consultation, and it is arranged through the appointments page.

Urgent symptoms

This website is not an emergency channel and is not monitored as one. After a resurfacing treatment, blistering, spreading redness, warmth or pus suggests infection and needs assessment. A treated area that is becoming more painful rather than less, or a wound that is not closing on the expected course, needs review. Any treatment close to the eye that leaves pain, a change in vision or a lid that will not close requires emergency care immediately.
